ALL students will enter and exit Prairie Trail through the main doors except for Kindergarten. They will be entering and exiting the doors by the Kindergarten rooms.

Arrival and Dismissal map

School hours:

Students will be allowed in the building at 7:30 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:55 a.m.

Breakfast is provided each day.

Parent Drop off/pick-up:

All parents/guardians will drop off using the Aquatic center parking lot as the drop off. If you would like to walk your student to the doors, please park on the aquatic side of the parking lot and walk your students across the parking lot. We do not want students walking in the parking lot by themselves.

Buses:

The buses will use the upper parking lot by the main entrance to drop off and pick up students. Please do not park in this lot.

Daycare Buses:

Daycare buses drop off and pick up students at the end of the parking lot by the playground. Please do not park in these spots. We need plenty of parking spots on the sidewalk side of the parking lot for our daycare buses.

Walkers/Bike Riders:

Students walking or riding a bike to school may enter the school at 7:30 a.m. Please keep in mind that only students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades may ride bikes to school.

Bikes must be parked in the bike racks in front of the building.

Late Arrivals:

The parent will escort their child to the door, ring the bell, enter the building and sign their child in on the sign in/out sheet, which is located in the lobby. The child will then report to the office for a “pass” to class.

Early Dismissal:

If you are picking your student up early from school, please ring the bell and tell the office who you are picking up. We will then call your student to the office and have you sign your student out. Please allow plenty of time for your student to gather their belongings and walk to the office.
